A recent report shows that Android 1.5 and 1.6 are running on 41% of all Android devices. Android 2.1 Eclair is on the top of the chart with 55.5%. Whereas Android 2.2 Froyo the most fastest Android is just covering 3.3% of devices. Google and its Partners are too lazy in updating devices. Still some devices are waiting for Android 2.1. In my opinion they must provide an update as soon as possible atleast to a device with capable hardware.
