Convert your iPhone and iPod Touch to iPad

Apple Inc. has released their latest creation the Apple iPad on 27 January. Apple iPad has a shape similar to iPhone and iPod Touch but with a 9.7″ screen.  iPad comes with iPhone OS 3.2, which includes some new functions. As it uses the iPhone OS similar to one used in iPhone so both devices has almost same functions, whereas iPad includes a new Store,that is iBook Store and iWork app etc.

If you want to make your iPhone or iPod Touch to look like an iPad then you need to follow the simple steps given below. Before following instructions, make sure that your iPhone or iPod Touch is jailbroken.

  • Winterboard app via Cydia
  • “Simple iPad Theme” via Cydia
  • MakeItMine app via Cydia to Change the Carrier logo to iPad.
  • Shrink app via Cydia to reduce the size of all the icons on the springboard.
  • NYTimes – The New York Times app for iPhone via App Store
  • Classics – The iBooks lookalike app for iPhone via App Store
  • Kindle for iPhone via App Store.
