Google Chrome OS was revealed on 19 November, 2009. On the next day Chrome OS was made to run with Virtualization as you can see in my recent post. Now finally we got around to prepping a USB key so we could boot to Chrome OS natively. @hexxeh on twitter, who made it possible to try it using your USB drive like a real OS, not by Virtualization. Originally the OS is fast, boot in a very few seconds and loads the web faster. So if you want to try Chrome OS completely, follow the steps given below:
- Goto hexxeh official site to download the USB Driven Chrome OS image.
- Read the instructions given on his site according to your OS to create a bootable USB Drive.
