blackra1n RC3 will be available at Noon EST @t blackra1n.com. It will also include blacksn0w an unlock for the iPhone with baseband 05.11.07. According to GeoHot blackra1n RC3 is faster than RC2. Here is a guide how to jailbreak and unlock iPhone 3G and 3GS using blackra1n RC3 (will be available at Noon EST).
- Update your iPhone to Official iTunes update 3.1.2. (Connect your iPhone to your Computer and run iTunes click on the update button to update to latest firmware 3.1.2)
- When it get updated, download blackra1n RC3 (not available now, will be live at Noon EST) and run the app. Click make it ra1n button. Your iPhone will be placed in recovery mode and you will see the GeoHot’s picture on your iPhone.
- Your iPhone will reboot and you will see the blackra1n icon on your iPhone. Run the blackra1n you will see the “sn0w” button as shown in the picture below.
- Click on the “sn0w” button and see the magic. Enjoy the unlocked iPhone.
