A great step taken by Microsoft for “feature phones”. Microsoft launches a new application called OneApp that allows the users of feature phones to run all the popular mobile services together from one platform easily such as Windows Live Messenger, FaceBook, Twitter and many more. Besides it you can also play games on it.
I write a word feature phones above it means mobile phones that are capable of running some apps but that lack the capabilities of smartphones. OneApp will provide a new platform for the developers of the Applications to develop more and more new services and it will give the users all they want from their mobile phones. Remember OneApp is a single app but it includes many other apps inside it. It dynamically launches just the parts of an app that a person wants to use, eliminating additional installation time and the need to store all of their mobile apps on their phone. OneApp enables users to easily customize their mobile experience.
Now you don’t need to visit different websites to search softwares compatible to your mobile phone. Becuase using OneApp you can access to all the apps you want. Its really a great job done by Microsoft. They can’t improve thier own phones well but make a great step to develop other phones. OneApp is a lightweight application of only 150KB, and its mini apps will also be smaller about 30KB. Microsoft plans to launch OneApp in more countries within the next year.
