Future Product : Glass multi-touch Keyboard

Giddings Product Development had displayed their piece at the CES2012. A keyboard out of curved Gorilla glass is too good to be true. 19 inches wide, the keyboarduses Frustrated total internal reflection (FTIR) to sense the fingers on it’s surface while the two cameras below it capture the finger location and register the keys being pressed. It comes with USB connectivity, Bluetooth port, multitouch gestures enabled and built in speakers. Creators speak that the working of this marvel piece turly depends on the sftware being used and its upto the software that will portray its actual capacity. Available on windows, IOS and Mac simultaneously, this QWERTY glass slab is a must-see.

At CES 2012, The smart window is in the line of lastest advancement this world is to see in the coming days. Though just a prototype, the smart window looks very promising through its hyperactive touch interface. The smart window is user interactive that displays everything on a screen and touch enabled. It is capable of display at any time, even at the night, via a night time mode that uses side-lighting and flipped colors. It is capable of running all sorts of applications from social networking to Office applications. With a sky-rocketing pace, news like this one is not unusual when expecting from Samsung.

All of Google’s latest advancements to it’s browser has laid emphasis on security and speed. In particular, webpage loading speed has increased manifold in recent updates. In keeping with this trend, Google Chromes new beta promises to improve processing speed and also features a variety of tweaks and updates.

The new beta Chrome preloads webpage in the background when the address is being typed in the omnibox(address bar). If what you are typing is auto-completed, Chrome loads the page even before the user hits the enter button, reducing a lot of loading time.

Another thing that google had been working on is the security of the downloaded and previewed content. Google checks on the downloaded content(.exe and .msi files) and matches its relation with malware sites and programs. If it happens to detect any harmful link, it will issue a security warning regarding the malware downloaded. Moreover, it prevents launching of sites that require no user interaction at all. Such sites are usually virus-laden, usually comprising of fake anti-virus programs that promise to scan your computer while actually downloading malicious software on your computer. Also in the beta, Chrome now prevents launching of sites that automatically start downloading content thus preventing any passage of backdoor viruses.

Android 4.0 powered Samsung Galaxy Nexus is now becoming available to customers of the Canadian mobile carrier TELUS Communications on 13th of Januaary 2012, according to the official announcement on Twitter. Despite of the late endorsement than some other carriers like Virgin Mobile, TELUS has not announced any price for the smart phone up till now. Nevertheless, experts are making approximations of the price tag at around $150.
