Never be disconnected from Facebook! Isn’t that the dream? Well it just might come true in a few months when Facebook launches it’s very own phone. Although it is thought to be a rumor at the moment, the reports started surfacing again. The suggested phone’s name is “Buffy”, named after the television series, “Buffy – The Vampire Slayer”. According to reports, Facebook has allied with HTC to design the hardware for the phone while it might go on similar paths as the rest of the smart phones and tablets these days about the operating system and adapt Android. While most of the apps for the phone would be built using the HTML 5 technology.

How it will make way in the already so competitive market of phones is something to see. And what about the companies that Facebook had partnerships with to make it available through mobiles? It would be very interesting to see how Facebook maintains a friendly relation with all the other companies while trying to get a fair share for its very own phone!

Earlier this month we reported about the leaked Gingerbread update for HTC Thunderbolt. Now HTC has confirmed that it will be pushing a Gingerbread update for HTC Thunderbolt and Droid Incredible in September. Exact date of arrival is unknown, but you don’t have to wait longer as September is about to start within hours.

Gameloft has just announced the new sequel to its first person shooter game for iOS and Android. Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation will be available on both iOS and Android this fall. The game features high graphics with most realistic effects and it’s story is based on an apocalyptic battle for the U.S.’ freedom.

Waiting for Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for your HTC Thunderbolt? Your wait is almost over now. Gingerbread update for HTC Thunderbolt has been leaked in the wild and is available for download. The build number is 2.07.605.0 and according to PhanDroid this will not be the final Verizon build, it is an official build from HTC.

From this leak it seems that the official OTA update release is just around the corner. But if you can’t wait for the official update you can download and install this ROM on your own risk.

Warning: After Installing this leaked ROM your device might lose the capability of getting the official OTA update.

Recently Verizon Wireless has released two new members of the Droid family. Droid Incredible 2 by HTC and Droid Charge by Samsung are now available to purchase. While Motorola Droid X2 isn’t officially announced yet, but it is expected to arrive on May 26th. Here is a specs comparison between the newly released HTC Droid Incredible 2, Samsung Droid Charge and the upcoming Motorola X2.

Some specs of the Droid X2 are unknown at the moment but we will update the specs table as it will be officially announced.

A few days ago, Verizon Wireless announced the Droid Incredible 2 by HTC. Droid Incredible 2 is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 768MB of RAM and features Android 2.2 Froyo with HTC Sense, 4-inch Super LCD display, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera and more. Now we are going to compare the newly released Verizon Droid Incredible 2 with Verizon iPhone 4 which was released back in January this year.

Here is another leaked Android device for your delight, HTC Kingdom has been leaked by a chinese website and it looks a lot like HTC Thunderbolt. According to 911Sniper the device sports a qHD (540 X 960) resolution screen and of course it runs Google’s Android. Nothing else is known about this device at this point.

The device you can see in the image above is a leaked HTC phone that is going to be called HTC Rider. It made an appearance on a chinese website thanks to Mr Blurry cam. We cannot tell anything else about this particular device but as you can see in the image above, it looks like a typical HTC device that is running Google’s Android. It also reminds us about a device HTC recently announced, i.e HTC Evo 3D because it looks like that a lot.
