Sergio Mcfly the developer of iPhoDroid has announced that iPhoDroid for Windows will be available on Sunday 8/29. The alpha version of the application is already available to Dev Testers. Using iPhoDroid for Windows you will be able to install the popular Android Froyo on your iPhone 2G/3G with a single click.

Update: iPhoDroid for Windows has been delayed due to 64bit Windows driver. We will update you as we receive more details.

If you are an iPhone 3G user then you will be facing low performance after iOS 4 update. After complains from iPhone 3G owners, Apple said that they will fix the issue. But there wasn’t any fix in the new iOS 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 updates. Now Steve Jobs in reply to an iPhone 3G user said that software update will be coming soon.

Here is the email and Steve Jobs response:

iPhone 3G User: I’ve waited patiently through 4.0.1 and 4.0.2, looking for a fix that will make my phone work again. I’ve read the forums that advise me to jailbreak my phone or use some other method so I can downgrade back to a version of iPhone 3, however I’m not prepared to use a method that is not supported by Apple.

Jobs’ response:

Software update coming soon.

It is expected that Apple will fix the iPhone 3G speed issue in iOS 4.1 update.

Yesterday Apple releases iOS 4.1 Beta 3 to developers, the iOS 4.1 Release Notes shows that Game Center support has been dropped from iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. Apple was already receiving complains about the slow speed and other stability problems from iPhone 3G (iOS 4) users. So, maybe Apple is trying to make iOS light-weighted for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G users.

When GeoHot releases of the Blackra1n RC1 there were some problems in the utility. Now GeoHot tweeted that an update is coming tomorrow which will fix many problems including 3G Support,tethered ipt2 MC and new 3GS support. He said that Icy has already fixed.
