Droid 4 the 4th sequel of most successful Android smartphone Motorola Droid gets leaked on the web. The phone looks pretty much similar to the Droid RAZR but packs a full physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard. According to the leaked documents Droid 4 is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and features a 4-inch touch screen, 4G LTE, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1080p HD video recording, HD camera for video calling, 1785mAh battery, 16GB of internal storage, 1080p video playback via HDMI, and more.

Droid 4′s availability is rumored for the month of December. Check out the full specifications after the break.

Just got the new Droid Bionic? Want to enjoy the full freedom? Here is the complete guide to help you free your new Droid Bionic. Rooting your device gives you full control over it and you can alter system files, install themes, run special Apps, install different ROMs etc.

• Download “MotorolaOneClickRoot.zip” from here. [1.34MB]
• Make sure you have Motorola drivers installed. Download Drivers from here [download link].
• Unzip the “MotorolaOneClickRoot.zip” file, downloaded in first step.
• From your phone go to  Settings>Applications>Development and check the box for USB Debugging.
• Plug your phone into your computer and select “Charge Only” mode.
• Navigate to MotorolaOneClickRoot folder and run MotorolaOneClickRoot.exe.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.There will be 3 steps to complete, and your device will reboot during the process.
• Wait for process to finish. Once its finished, you’re done. Enjoy!

Finally wait is over folks. Verizon Wireless has made it official. Droid Bionic will hit the store shelves on Thursday, September 8th for $299 with a 2-year contract. At first Droid Bionic was announced back in January 2011 but due to some reason Motorola decided not to ship the phone. Now it is here with a totally different design as you might have seen in the leaks we reported earlier.

Droid Bionic is a 4G LTE device powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The phone features a 4.3-inch qHD screen with Gorilla Glass dual layer coating, Android 2.3.4, 8-megapixel rear camera with flash, front facing camera for video chat over 4G LTE, Wi-Fi or 3G, 1080p HD video capture, HDMI out with 1080p HD video playback, microSD card slot, 16GB internal storage and more.

Engadget has just got a set of photos showing unannounced Motorola Droid HD alongside the Droid Bionic. Droid Bionic leak isn’t a new thing as its going on from the start of August. However its first time for Droid HD to show off its face to the public. Droid HD appears to be running Android Gingerbread and features 4.5-inch display, 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash, 1080p HD video recording, front-camera for video calling, HDMI port, microUSB port, volume up & down button and more.

You can clearly see in the picture above that Droid HD is thinner than Droid Bionic and according to Engadget its going to be between 8.5mm and 9mm.

Currently nothing is known about the release date. It might be released in October as the first Droid to feature the Android Ice Cream Sandwich the next version of Android OS.

Here it is folks, the mysterious back of Verizon Droid Bionic that was previously unseen has finally been revealed. As we can see in these images it appears as if the material used in this phone’s back is quiet similar to the material used for the back of Motorola Droid 3.

As far as the screen size of this device is concerned, have a look at the image made by Droid-Life reader below. When compared with Samsung Droid Charge that features a 4.3-inch, Droid Bionic’s screen looks comparatively bigger. It could possibly mean that the redesigned Droid Bionic features a 4.5-inch screen.

Motorola Droid Bionic is expected to be released in September, that is nine month after it was officially announced at CES.

Recently Verizon Wireless has released two new members of the Droid family. Droid Incredible 2 by HTC and Droid Charge by Samsung are now available to purchase. While Motorola Droid X2 isn’t officially announced yet, but it is expected to arrive on May 26th. Here is a specs comparison between the newly released HTC Droid Incredible 2, Samsung Droid Charge and the upcoming Motorola X2.

Some specs of the Droid X2 are unknown at the moment but we will update the specs table as it will be officially announced.

We have been hearing a lot of unofficial reports indicating that Motorola has killed its unreleased Droid Bionic Android smartphone. But that was all unofficial stuff, and now a Motorola spokeswoman has stated that a second quarter release in still possible and a third quarter release can happen too. Motorola unveiled its device at CES 2011 show.

A Motorola spokeswoman said “Based on compelling feedback since the show, we are incorporating several enhancements to make this an even better consumer experience.”
