Mozilla Corporation has released the next beta of its popular browser Firefox 4. Firefox 4 Beta 5 is available for download now. The new beta 5 brings super-fast graphics acceleration with Direct2D, on DirectX 10 supported hardware. Firefox beta 5 button has a new look for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users.

New features included in Firefox Beta 5:

• Support for the new proposed Audio Data API
• Direct2D Hardware Acceleration is now on by default for Windows 7 users
• Firefox button has a new look for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users
• Support for HSTS security protocol allowing sites to insist that they only be loaded over SSL.
• As well as all the features from previous Firefox 4 Betas.

Fennec is the world’s first mobile browser which brings Add-ons support. Other features includes pinch-to-zoom, Firefox Sync, personalized start page, touch friendly UI and the beautiful address Bar. Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta 4 is now available for download. It was expected that Beta 4 will add a lots of new features but there isn’t much new. It includes support for new languages, Firefox Sync, support for HTML5 video “buffered” property, a new API is included to provide more efficient Javascript animations and all the features from previous Betas.

The final version of Firefox 3.6 is now released and is available for the download. The new version comes with built-in support for Personas to let you personalize the browser easily and now it supports more than 70 languages.  Firefox 3.6 is faster and more responsive than previous versions, and has been optimized to run on small device operating systems.

A few days before the images of Firefox was leaked. The images shows that it has a full Aero support for Windows Vista and 7. If you love that theme then there is a good news for you that you don’t need to wait until the release of Firefox 4, because SpewBoy from deviantART has created a theme like that which was showed in leaked pics. You can download the theme from the link given below.

Installation Instructions:

(Windows XP and Windows 2000 users should skip step Step 4 a to Step 4 c)

Step 1: Move the stop button after the urlbar, and the reload button straight after the stop button (this is essential to merge the stop and reload buttons together).

Step 2: Now you can install the theme as usual. To do this, open the addons window and drag the file “strata40_v02.jar” into the window.

Step 3: Go here to download a Firefox addon called Personal Menu. Once you have it installed three new toolbar buttons will appear after the stop / reload button. You can customize these as you wish, or remove them like any other toolbar button.

Step 4 a: This step is for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users only. Go here to download an addon called “All Glass Firefox Mod” (based on Glasser). Once installed it will give everything a nice, glassy, “aero” look, like most Vista or Windows 7 applications (such as IE7/8).

Step 4 b: Install the Firefox addon, Stylish which can be downloaded from here.

Step 4 c: Bundled with the archive containing the theme is a txt file. Open this in any text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad and copy the contents to clipboard. Paste the contents into a blank Stylish style. Name it something like “Strata40 – Glasser Fixes” and make sure it is activated. This will fix up a few things that were overridden by the glass addon.

Step 5: Now download an addon called “Fission”. Once this is installed, go back to the archive included and extract the file called loading_progress.png. Put this file somewhere safe, so it won’t be deleted. Go into the “Fission” addon’s options and click “browse” and select the .png file. This will let you have a small loading bar underneath the urlbar, like in Firefox 4.

Step 6: Download this addon to use the urlbar as a search bar too. You may now remove the search bar next to the urlbar.
